PegArch Team
Matthew Pegolo, AIA NCARB, is the founder and Principal Architect of PegArch Architecture. He holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Architecture degree from Roger Williams University.
An active member of the architectural community, Matthew maintains an ongoing involvement with the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Council of Architecture Registration Boards (NCARB). He is also dedicated to his community, contributing through fundraisers, sponsorships, donations, and supporting local business development initiatives.
Matthew has designed a diverse portfolio of projects across Connecticut, including single-family homes, multi-family and mixed use developments, commercial buildings, and public sector projects, bringing a broad range of expertise to every project he leads.
Jeffrey Munsie, NCARB, is a licensed Architect and Project Manager at PegArch. He joined the PegArch team in 2022. Jeff has been working in the Architectural industry for 25+ years and has a diverse professional history with experience in Architecture and Construction. He has a passion for great design and is very detail oriented. Jeff is creative and thorough in his work, and appreciates the assimilation of Architecture with cutting edge BIM technology.
Prior to PegArch, Jeff worked with various firms throughout Connecticut. On his time outside the office, Jeff enjoys hiking, fly fishing and informally studying the arts, sciences and humanities.
Christopher Speeg, Assoc. AIA, joined PegArch in 2024 as a Project Manager. With over 25 years of diverse architectural experience, Chris has developed expertise across a wide range of project typologies, including educational, institutional, residential, commercial, and religious design. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Roger Williams University. He is particularly passionate about optimizing design efficiency and applying technical solutions to complex challenges.
Before joining PegArch, Chris worked with several prominent architectural firms across New England. Outside of his professional work, Chris enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and kite flying, as well as creative hobbies including board games, foamsmithing, 3D printing, and model making.
Sarah Lafleur, Architectural Designer, has joined the PegArch team in 2020. Sarah has completed many residential and commercial projects of various sizes throughout Connecticut, and has designed, coordinated and executed projects from pre-design through construction drawings and Construction Administration. Her education in Architecture and Construction Management compliment her work ethic and attention to detail to make her a valuable team member at PegArch.
Prior to PegArch, Sarah worked with the design team at Electric Boat in New London. Outside of PegArch, Sarah enjoys traveling, warm weather and concerts.
Ryan Cyr, Architectural Designer, joined the PegArch team in 2023. He graduated from the University of Hartford with his Masters of Architecture. Ryan enjoys working on residential addition projects and various sporting facilities.
Prior to working at PegArch, Ryan received his Bachelor’s from Uconn and served in the United States Coast Guard for 5 years. When not in the office, Ryan can be found spending time with his wife and two daughters, running, hiking or woodworking.
