We were thrilled to learn that the owner of Vale Sports Club wanted to work with PegArch to assist with their new location. PegArch provided Architectural and Structural services to convert this old Eversource building into a hub for growing like-minded businesses with lots of various moving parts, including; chiropractic care, shared work spaces, professional offices, a gym, a brewery and event space, an indoor soccer arena with team rooms and support spaces, two outdoor soccer fields, remote exterior team rooms, outdoor stadium seating, ADA accessibility to the entire site, as well as future phases for further expansion. What a fun and local project!
H2O Farm - Hydroponic Greenhouse Facility

If you have ever purchased organic, hydroponically grown lettuce in CT, then it has likely come from this client! H2O farm produces organic lettuce to local stores throughout CT, including Stop and Shop, Shop Rite, Big Y, Whole Foods, and other retailers. PegArch provided Architectural, Site/Civil, MEP and structural services to this client for their brand new, state of the art hydroponic facility, including the ‘head-house’ building which includes processing, packing, refrigeration, and shipping of their products. Coming in at over 200,000 square feet, this was no ‘small project’!

They hired PegArch to provide Architectural services for a large piece of property with many phases for future growth. We designed the Phase 1 building to provide up to 8 commercial tenants, and we met every goal the client was looking for in the project. Condo Rehabilitation

PegArch assisted the owners with rebuilding a series of condo units in a large community that suffered severe fire and water damage. We created all the drawings and detailing needed to rebuild this building and get 12 families back into their homes.

Mixed-Use Rehabilitation

This developer came to PegArch to assist them with their recently acquired historic factory building in the heart of the Parkville District in Hartford. PegArch provided existing conditions survey, site and civil design, structural design, architectural design, and MEP design services. We worked with the client to create a mixed use complex; including business tenants, a brewery, live work studio spaces, and over 100 apartments with tons of amenities that young professionals are looking for.

This well known brewer in CT is growing! PegArch was hired to expand their production area, and design a new front deck / terrace for outdoor seating. The design follows the existing structures geometry, column grid, beam spacing and materials. Stop by this old silk factory turned brew house and grab a drink!
ADA Ramp
Cheshire, CT
This historical commercial building was in dire need for an ADA ramp and accessible entrance. Due to some historical restrictions, PegArch designed this ADA ramp and stair to be free-standing in order to not adversely effect the historic nature of the building. We were happy to work with the owner and builder through this project, and glad that the space is now accessible to all!
Vietnamese Restaurant
Cromwell, CT
This property was an abandoned home along a busy road in Cromwell. PegArch was hired to convert this run-down residential property into a functioning Vietnamese restaurant. Design work included a large commercial kitchen addition, removing several load bearing walls, bringing the existing structure up to code, adding two ADA Accessible bathrooms, and creating an efficient flow of site traffic and parking for the tight site. We breezed through our variance and zoning hearings, and we all look forward to our first meal in the new space!
Mixed Use Building - Middletown, CT
PegArch was the Architecture firm selected to design a Mixed-Use waterfront building in Middletown CT. This property has wetlands on site and falls under FEMA watercourse regulations. The main level contains two commercial / office spaces, and an aerial yoga studio (with breathtaking water views), and the second level is designed as a large open-plan residential apartment. The architecture of this building respects the historic residential neighborhood feel, and begins to revive the small store atmosphere from the late 1800’s to 1900’s through discrete architectural elements and styles. This area is currently under historical threat by big-box stores and cold commercial buildings that do not respect the history of the area.

Restaurant - Hartford, CT
Don Chimi is a small, family run Dominican restaurant. Client only needed permitting drawings for approval, but they got more than they ever imagined! The BIM file allowed them to see the layout of their restaurant, and walk through it, without swinging a hammer. Unfortunately, the existing building had mold issues (car-wash next door) and clients are now on the hunt for a new location.
Lucy - Nosara, Costa Rica
Lucy is a luxurious resort in the mountains of Nosara, Costa Rica. Development consists of retail on lower level, units on levels 2-4, and a restaurant on upper level. Guests will have spectacular views of the pristine beaches just a couple hundred feet away. Designed in collaboration with BOAD.
New York Vintners - Tribeca, NYC
New York Vintners is a private wine club in the heart of Tribeca. NYV offers wine tasting events and a cafe/bar area and open kitchen to event spaces. Lower level consists of a members only lounge and library area, with the cellar filled of refrigerated wine storage. Designed in collaboration with BOAD.
McCarthy Concrete - East Hartford, CT
The new McCarthy Concrete office is an addition to an older office building and warehouse. This new space will hold the company’s admin offices and estimating department.
